Many wonderful people from our park enjoyed baked potatoes, salad and cookies, followed by a White Elephant Sale!
Much fun was had by all that attended the Latitude 49 Baked Potato Bar and White Elephant Auction, to benefit the Alternative Humane Society of Whatcom County. Sue Wickersham and Nancy LaQua did an outstanding job of organizing everything. Our auctioneers Don and Max kept things lively!
Over $700 was raised to benefit the Alternative Humane Society, established in 1977 to minimize the euthanasia of healthy adoptable dogs in Whatcom County. All in the society are volunteers, and all funding is received from personal donations and fund-raising events such as this one. More information is available on their website.
