This annual fund-raising event was held the evening of June 11. Not only was it highly entertaining and the food delicious, a profit of $1580.07 was made!
This event was to benefit the Alternative Humane Society (AHS) of Whatcom County. It is an all-volunteer society that arranges safe and loving foster homes for dogs (and now cats) while they search for their forever homes. Fostering them is FREE and saves lives! Funds raised cover vet bills, pee pads, bedding, small to medium collars, exercise pens, leashes, gates, no pull harnesses, vaccines, and crates. See the AHS website for more information. AHS was “blown away and much appreciative” over the monetary gift that they received.
The photos below show some of the fun that was had. The potatoes were delicious and gifts of all types were auctioned off. It was fun to see all of the surprises!
The quilt to be auctioned off by the Latitude 49 Quilters was also on display, and raffle tickets were available for purchase. It will be auctioned off later this summer. Check this page often for updates and for photos of the quilt.

Many lovely gifts were donated!

Lots of visiting and great fun! Note the quilt hanging from the balcony. It will be auctioned off sometime in August.
